Liang Feng
Dr. Liang Feng is an Associate Professor in Molecular and Cellular Physiology and holds a courtesy appointment in Structural Biology at Stanford University, where he is also a member of Bio-X and the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute. His research focuses on the structure, dynamics, and function of eukaryotic transport proteins that mediate the movement of ions and essential nutrients across membranes, as well as the kinetics and regulation of these transport processes and the catalytic mechanisms of membrane-embedded enzymes. Dr. Feng has received several prestigious honors, including the NIH Director's New Innovator Award and the Klingenstein-Simons Fellowship in 2015, and the Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship in 2014. His innovative work aims to develop small molecule modulators based on the structure and function of membrane proteins, contributing significantly to the understanding of membrane biology and its implications for health and disease.
