Feigen Lecture

This annual Lectureship pays tribute to George Feigen, a fine scholar and a good friend. Dr. Feigen, a member of the original Department of Physiology at Stanford, devoted over 30 years teaching and research at Stanford he trained and inspired a large number of students from all over the world.

His sudden passing in 1983 created a profound sense of loss in those who knew him well. They immediately established this Memorial Lectureship in his honor.

The 2026 Feigen Lecture will feature Dr. David Julius, PhD as our invited speaker. It will take place on April 16th, 2026 at 4pm.
