Department Scientific Retreat

The Department hosts an annual scientific retreat that brings together the MCP community to connect, share, and explore the exciting research happening across our labs. Held at the start of the academic year, the retreat is a cherished tradition that also warmly welcomes our newest graduate students into the program. It’s a unique opportunity for incoming students to discover the breadth of research across the department, meet fellow students, and begin building lasting connections.
The retreat features a variety of sessions, including research presentations from lab members showcasing work in progress, a dedicated faculty talk, and a community-building session focused on fostering collaboration and inclusion.
