PhD Program
Admission of graduate students into MCP as the Home Program occurs through the Graduate Studies in the Biosciences (GSBS) program at Stanford University. Admission into GSBS provides a unique opportunity for education and research with any of over 225 members of the faculty as well as with outstanding graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and undergraduates. The ability to affiliate with any of these faculty for the dissertation research is uniquely balanced by the Home Program concept, where entering students join a group of faculty and students in one of twelve Home Programs in the Biosciences, which span the School of Medicine and the School of Humanities and Sciences.
